Midweek Fixtures - 14th/15th August

Recommended Posts

Eric has never really been that interested in producing a decent programme at Ampthill, he's a bit of a minimalist but that's not taking anything away from him as a decent Club Secretary.

Tuesday 14th August

PREMIER DIVISION

1-3 Colney Heath v Leverstock Green

A brief report on this one from another Forum:

Spartan South Midlands League Premier,

Colney Heath (0) 1, Leverstock Green (0) 3

Attendance 73

Admission £6/£3 incl programme

Good win for Leverstock after being under the cosh for a lot of the first half.

Colney missed a clinical finisher, otherwise it could have been all over at half time. The visitors went 2-0 by 56 minutes and also had a player dismissed for a bit of silliness after the second goal was scored. An own goal brought Heath back in the game with 20 minutes left but they struggled to string much together. Leverstock sealed the game with a third goal two minutes from time.

You should Offer your services!

I doubt that I would be welcomed at Ampthill Park otherwise I might consider throwing my hat into the ring

Just read the Hoddesden report on the Berko match.....Dont think ive ever read one quite as biased as that before, I noticed the mention of the "unsavoury" incident which i didnt see due to talking but I did see a stamp from Ryan Redford on Lewis Rodrigoe which didnt warrant a mention but ended up with yellows for both players after Rodrigoe took exception to it.

Welcome to the Hoddesdon reports, they never deserve to lose a game. Should be in the Premiership by now if they get "what they deserve"
