I do think we play better in a 4-4-2 line up. When we have been 3-5-2, 5-3-2 or 4-3-3 we seem to leave gaps at the back or are overrun in midfield.

Sorry to be controversial, but Adrian Pennock seems a bit off the pace at the moment. How are his knees holding up.

My line up for Morcambe, if all are fit would be

Wilkerson

Burton Wilkins Duku Skinner

Kwashi Bentley McKimm Jackson

Stadhart Hatch

Against the best teams you need PACE all over the park.

Everyones calling for Macca to get straight back in the side...I think he needs to be put back in gradually. He still seems a lot lighter and lacking the muscle bulk he had last yr due to his illness. I still wouldnt play Burton..Said it before but he's too small to play center half in this league. He doesnt win enough headers cleanly and puts pressure on the defence..Best tackler of the ball we have though and if he's not going to play right back then sweeper is his ideal position. If Andy doesnt play him there then id have Wilkins at the back and leave Nick on the bench. Duku was awesome, class act...Sign a new contract please Francis !

Couldn't agree more, Macca still looks off the pace and looks like he needs a few weeks before making the starting line up. He was pushed off the ball far too easy, when he came on on Saturday.

Probably controversial , but I would give young Ben White ( in Rob Owens absence) another run out on saturday, as from what I can remember about Morecombe from the away trip, were that they were very organised, and had probably the best back 4 ( especially the centre backs) that we have come across this season.

We will need a bit of creativity to break them down, whilst Ben has been inconsistent for us, he can hit a good pass.

But more importantly , we need to concentrate right from the start , we can't afford to let a goal in after 10 seconds like we did up there.

Why wouldn't you play Rob Owen, my understanding is that he is completely fit, he just hasn't been selected since Telford.

Id play Rob personally. He along with Bentley are the two players we have who are capable of that defence splitting pass..One thing i would like to comment on was the pitch. Is there no way that if it remains dry that we can give the turf a good soak on Saturday...The ball was bouncing all over the place and was very difficult to control as emphasised by Wilkos near fatal miss kick !!

I though Franny was great, and along with Ade they worked well together.

Our midfield seems to be the problem, though I cannot understand why when we have such talent in that area.

What is wrong with Benno, Jacko, Owen, Macca/if totally fit.

We have Strouts. we have Kwashi when playing conditions suit, with Louis in the hole.

Possibly as I am a mere woman, I cannot see exactly what it is Ben White has, that ensures he starts every match. Perhaps one of you chaps could explain

My apologies, I thought that Rob's absence was thru' injury . ( the only reason I could think of) . Then it was even stranger to see Macca, on the pitch at all on Saturday. He didn't look totally fit to me.

If Rob is fit, then yes , lets have him back in the team...

His old man knows Andy from their Gillingham days ensuring he gets a run in the team...A bit like how U12 football works !!!! Seriously, im a fan of Ben White, A bit of a libero player who does everything calmly and sensibly...Lets put his poor performance down to a difficult pitch and give the guy a chance again. Forwards, forwards, forwards, we need someone other than Che who can score a goal.
