So called ex big clubs like Slough & Wealdstone are compared to clubs like Hemel because that is exactly what you are like.At least Hemel have their own ground,where will Slough be playing home games next season,Uxbridge,Hayes or Beaconsfield?Other posts on this forum infer Slough could even fold,now that would be laughable,I hope you don't but don't go thinking you are superior to any other team in this division.

You should change your name, because you do a disservice to your club.

 

It was clear that at the outset of the new Ryman League setup that some teams thought they were too good for this league ( I refer to your spat with Arlesey at the start if the season).

 

Whether you like it or not, Hemel are involved in the promotion race and there is no reason for our players to roll over simply because we are playing a faded "giant" like Slough Town. It is a man's game and our players were pumped up. I feel sure that you expect your players to go into every game looking to win. Our players had seen a series of very poor decisions go against them. It is clear our player made a mistake in kicking the ball into the stand, but was properly punished by the referee.

 

There has been a lot of talk about the fact that a child could have been injured and that Slough Town are a "family" club, but your fans seem to have forgotten that they then created an atmosphere at the end of the game that was very intimidating for younger children, and suddenly the ethos of a "family" club seemed to have gone out of the window.

 

You have a good footballing side and will no doubt remain a factor in the push for promotion, but I hope that should you be unsuccesful, you show some humility next season, and accept that you are no longer a Conference or Premier side and show some respect to your fellow teams.

Well I think it's wrong to say things like 'we shouldn't be compared with Hemel' and 'we shouldn't be in the same league'. Even though we dominated yesterday they showed good spirit to hang on in the game. We're here, we have to do the best job we can and try and get 2nd place.

absolutely right mattie dear boy...second place behind us little ol' urchins...you see we are a proppa family club wiv no swearin' no racism and no histrionics from the players...oh and we're also very very humble aint we...ha ha ha yeah dead right we are....11 games...11 wins...champions...it could happen...urchins are bang in form...back to winning ways and have the easiest run in out of the top six...accepted that this could work against us with teams looking to get away from the relegation zone but we wouldn't swop old boy...no chance....poor little ol' urchins...no one loves us....as well as you lot...the donkeys and the camels and canvey...ha ha ha ha we're all renegades aint we....

Why do you guys keep ducking the issue that was the real cause of all this. It wasn't the number five - he did something stupid and got himself sent off. Fair enough.

 

Fergus Moore, your number three, caused the incident by deliberately inciting the Sloiugh fans behind the goal. You wont have seen it because he hid his gestures from the referee and aimed them directly at our end. Ask your keeper - to his credit he tried to calm things down because he could see everything that Moore did.

 

Let's hope that clown, who I believe is supposed to be your captain, never tries the same stunt with 150-200 away fans who are less tolerant than Slough fans and who might have caused a far more serious incident that the one that occurred.

It is an absolute discrace that the assistant referee failed to take action against the three (but did flag against the five). IF the three had behaved the way he did in a league match he would be on a disrepute charge so fast his feet wouldnt touch the ground. There is no doubt his actions were a deliberate attempt to provoke the away supporters, and the Ryman league should take action if they want to maintain any semblace of credibility.
