I watched the whole match very carefully to try and assess the future prospects of that team yesterday and very impressed I was too. A credit to John Lawrence and his team.

 

Immediate future prospects...well one of them has already been a substitute on several occassions for the first team and another plays in the reserve team on a regular basis (not good to rush them)...I also saw one or two others yesterday that will undoubtedly make the step up this year (as well as a very good prospect on the other side who needs to be playing at the Ol' Stadium...)

 

Lets not underestimate the achievement yesterday...the County Cup is a prestigeous competition at this level and the team have excelled in getting to the final (their second of the year)...they now get to have two great days out on the first team coach and a new one off strip for the finals (specially badged) which they keep....great stuff lads...bring back the old silverware...the Uncle needs the money.....

by the way...there were over 100 people at that match yesterday and another 40 or so who watched it from the restaurant...great stuff....makes it all worthwhile...

Bradley Kite, now there's a good player, if I remember right the goal was at the windmill end and in the inside right position he cooly slotted home for a well taken goal.
