My Ferguson remark this morning was an attempt at humorous banter, eye1, as you had said he knew when to keep his mouth shut to keep out of trouble, and the burk got sent off for verbal abuse. I post that as I know I dont always explain myself in a way you can understand.

As the call for Rednap gains momentum one thing worries me.I don't know whether anybody else has noticed but Harry sits in the dug out on match days and twitches away.His head jerks from side to side and his left eye winks away as if he fancies the lino.My worry is ,if he is like that with Pompey,what will the England team do do him?

I did notice that on match of the day the other night.

 

I do remember seeing someone else like that and he was an American boxer fighting against Collins or Eubank I think and kept winking during the fight and had a blood clot thingy detected after the fight.

A real luvvly fella when he came to Meadowbank for the Charity match against Pompey ! He even twitched his head when walking beside me to the changing rooms !

The FA's overseas committee are looking at their options for possible tours next summer with various countries keen to accomodate them. Having made the decision not to compete in the "Celtic Cup", England look set for a tour of the Americas with "hands across the sea" matches against Bermuda, Trinidad & Tobago, The Bahamas and Montserrat.

An FA spokeswoman said "this is a golden opportunity for our players to recharge their batteries ahead of next Autumn's world cup qualifiers. And what better way than a tour of the CONCACAF region to further our good name abroad?" It is hoped that an elite squad of 45 players will make the trip along with their wives, partners and children. It is expected that all FA employees will be balloted as to whether they wish to make the 24 day trip.

The FA are in talks with likely tour partners and sponsors, British Airways and Cunard, regarding flight logistics and accomodation.
