One last thing: When Germany go into qualifying there is NEVER a question that they will get there. Why? Because they totally and utterly believe they will. They rarely come unstuck, yet they are rarely the best quality players, or the best paid. They just believe and the bloody well know they will win.

Maybe we could do with some of that.

And here lieth the question. No chance of them resigning. They live in thier cosy little world of meetings. Having the prestige thier positions bring. Unless there is an almighty revolt it won't happen. Unless you are prepared to stand up and be counted they will get away with it.

Fair point UM, but the principal is that unless teams like Arsenal who have the best manager in the prem without question, are forced to bring through young English talent, the national side will suffer.

 

Barwick is a mug and will carry on making disasterous mistakes like Mac and Sven. God help us.
