Had to laugh at that 1st goal. Mclaren brought in Carson and that happened. Should have been a text book save parried wide. NUMPTY! Not the debut he'd have hoped for!

Sky sources understand that England manager Steve McClaren has been sacked after England's failure to qualify for the Euro 2008 competition.

 

A statement from the Football Association is expected shortly.

I,ve got a really good idea. Play 1 up front for even if you go 2 nil down. Play two players together that can't play together in mid field. Drop your number 1 goalkeeper and give someone a debut because the game isn't that important. Bring your best winger on at half time and don't start him.
