AND...to make you salivate as you probably haven't been to the pub yet today(what is the time over there?)..I had 3 schooners and two middies of chilled (yes thats how we drink it over here) XXXX Gold at the Wagga Wagga Country Club(nice course but not really a 'Country Club') after a less than competent 9 holes of very ordinary golf this afternoon.

Only nine holes????.......No staying power????

9 hole comp after work...teams of 8 play any time through the week with best 5 handicap scores counting..24 teams...currently second....no they didn't count MY score.

Plenty of staying power...finished at 6:00pm stayed till 9.

 

Only drink pints(20 oz)on Birthdays over here...raely see anyone drinking them otherwise. Traditional that the beer gets too warm by the time you get to the bottom quarter..drink faster I say!

Random Breath Testing is red hot over here so Pints could be very expensive!

Can't remeber the last time I saw someone drinking a 5 ounce beer (pony)....when I was 17 (34 years ago)..went to Western Australia to visit relatives and the locals drank ponies...suppose it worked on the same principle as pints..so damn hot in WA ...get it into you as quick as you can before the glass heats up!!

 

Might have a few schooners after golf tomorrow celebrating the Dream Trifecta....Liberals(Conservatives)sacked after 11 years, Prime Minister loses his own seat....Fleet win.

Wouldn't entertain the Quadrella...a win at golf...form not good enough!
