John Akinde doubled the Fleet’s lead after six minutes and 51 seconds into the second half.

The striker, on a dual-registration with Ryman League Division One South outfit Whitstable Town, latched onto a ball over the top from Liam Coleman.

 

Akinde cut inside and drilled a left-footed shot inside the bottom right-hand corner from twenty-yards.

Lol well we're out of another tournament for this year which is a shame. We normally make at least the semi finals in that tournament (even though last year was a fiasco).

 

Have to say, did anyone listen to Radio Kent's commentary? There was a priceless description of Danny Twyman - yes, THE Danny Twyman, back from nowhere! The commentators were describing him as being like Rene Higuita, flying out of his area etc. Such a legend that bloke is. Brilliant to have him playing for us again, and I think by the sounds of it, Ebbsfleet agreed!
