Big D in Canvey has just text and said its hammering it down . Our pitch (concord) was looking good at 3.30 so its hopeful ours will still be on

Yeah, raining here now. Still shouldn't be a problem, Mick, Alan & Millwall Dave have been working hard all day to ensure that the pitch would take any rain that may come later in the day.

Really good team performance with every player working hard from the first whistle to the last. Took a while for the first goal but after that Ilford were lucky it didn`t go into double figures.

 

Chris Bourne was outstanding and fully deserved his motm

 

Let`s hope for more of the same Saturday.

The Ilford keeper had a great game. He got in the way of everything!

 

Jay Curran should have got 2 goals, both from one-on-ones, but we kept a clean sheet and got 3 points which is a great resulttttt!!!!

My only slight criticism was our finishing was a bit sloppy at times tonight and in the first half we seemed a bit intent on fancy flicks on occassions.

 

Apart from that good performance. We seem to get stronger as the game goes on and like Saturday and against Enfield Town, we were better in the second half.

 

Bourney was outstanding tonight and laid on chance after chance for the forwards.

 

Leon was also good down the other wing and Ryan was quality in the midfield. Played some fine defence splitting balls at time.

 

Another solid game from Russ Edwards who continues to impress.

 

Ilford were awful and if it hadn't of been for their keeper it could have been double figures. Saying that he was at fault for our first goal.

I don't think Ilford were particularly bad, in that they made loads of mistakes, but they might as well have turned up with just their 'keeper, for all the good it did them coming with a full squad.
