That we have so many away fans is quite impressive and I think they should be congratulated. I saw this (below) and i think that anyone who braves the away games needs a special round of applause. If this continues its very worrying.

LOL, just thinking that almost all the places we go to say what a lovely supportive bunch we are... And with that form that deserves some praise.

can any body tell me what all these numbers mean?

the short answer is that they mean we're not very good at the moment!

if you see above the numbers there's a bunch of letters - these stand for Played, Win, Draw, Lose, Goals for, goals against, the goals overall and how many points accrued during those games - so for us, the numbers mean played 8 games, won 0, drew 0, lost 8, goals scored by us 3, goals scored against us 25, which leaves us with -22 goals overall and no points.

What it also means is that we have a manager who is worse than Steve Mclaren, who still has his job (at the momment) and the powers that be at Slough Town FC either cant see it or are not prepared to do anything about it.

 

"results on the pitch dont matter this season" is the managements view - however this is driving fans away and jepodising the new ground.

 

At least the incompetents at the FA managed to make a valid decision for a change.

Not so. We understand the implications of dropping another level and what that means in terms of grant money available to the project.

Also looking at performance, I have put together the points for the first 15 games of the season going back to 02/03 listed below

This shows that this seasons performance is the worst in recent history and that it was achived at the lowest level the club has been at in that period.

 

This seasons results can only be down to the current managers lack of management ability.

Surly it needs to start with a change of manager, to one who knows what he is doing?

What a laugh! in todays Slough Observer,Wilko is quoted as saying,after last week's first half performance,when losing 3-0

'To be quite honest I was lost for words.I didn't know what to say to them.' Now if he doesn't know what to say after such criminal defending,then we really are in the proverbial 'S**T!'.

To me Steve Daly has had his day.He's worth a place in the squad but not for every league game.We need someone who is quick to the tackle.Adrian Browne can do the headed tennis and donkey work,that Daly supposed to do.I also can't see how Christian Metcalfe can play every game.If he was still any good,he wouldn't have been playing with Hanwell last season and where did they finish up last season?relegated,that's where.The trouble at our club is cronyism.Wilko needs to be a manager above his players but it seems to me,he will lose his job by being too loyal to players who he thinks of as mates.Are they as loyal back?Not by the performances I've seen from some of them,money for old rope,comes to mind!
