dorking football club limited : the good news.

Recommended Posts

Still no answer, but to try to go in different directions to avoid the truth which is you obviousley want to run Dorking Fc yourself, thats the only reason I can find for your constant abuse against the people that run Dorking FC, If I did noy know your real age I would have put you at about the age of twelve.

i agree with spurs fan i know he tried to help , i think there are some things that the current board are hiding which is one of the reasons myself and my brother were sacked last year , we were 2 of only 3/4 helpers who reguarly helped all the time doing the pitch on match days clearing rubbish painting etc, the other thing people should now realise is : 1 The council are not evicting Dorking FC only the current owners of Dorking FC Ltd Dorking FC will always have a home there . 2 There are about 35 members of a new commitee waiting to get stuck into making Dorking FC a real force in non league football again . spurs fan we want you on board to help in any way you can you know i was all for you getting involved last year .

It looks to me like you do, and have you ever thought about all the constant abuse you are giving is affecting the people that run Dorking, do you think that running a club is easy. you are mistaken, it is not like running a normal business.

"keep you out" you say eye1?

I am assuming you mean me.

Ill try to put this as clearly as possible.

I have no desire or intention to run, takeover, manage or operate Dorking fc or any club by any other name.

Please try to forget about me as an individual and try to understand what I am saying here.

I do wish to see a properly run community based Football club in the town, and to see Meadowbank used as a decent sports and social facility.

That is not happening now, and I will continue to question, analyse and comment on all the publicity the current board put out.

I have the time and capacity to do so, others who share my views don't.

Now I realise I may be deluded and wrong in my opinion, and so may be everyone else I talk to.

Hence my request here and elsewhere for anyone to say why the current board should stay, given the sorry state the club is in.

We know that past Dorking players and staff contribute to this forum, supporters of the club are members and we know the board view this forum too.

Well to be fair we haven't heard what the alternative is. Assuming the Collins get kicked out what team would play at Meadowbank? What would happen to Dorking FC?

So the good news would be at least we would know what is going to happen in the short term, although the long term may not be exactly rosy.

Surely the ultimate and obvious solution is for someone else to take over Dorking FC from the Collins and stay at Meadowbank, appease the council and start turning things round on the pitch. If they did that soon then the club could probably stay up this year.

its probably for others to say what the alternative is chickrob.

the council will eventually decide who they trust to run a football club on their ground.

what team would play at meadowbank? who knows, perhaps some of this years and some of last years squads?

Dorking fc is run by the ltd co., if they get booted off meadowbank they could in theory groundshare somewhere and carry on as Dorking fc I think.

long term I believe the council are committed to a football club at Meadowbank, Ill be locked to the gates and first up against the bulldozers if not!

Your last point is in my view the only sensible way forward.Over to the current owners!
