I am trying to take this seriously and Yes I am (and the wife) are already giving up our potential weekend including any new costs (remember Yorkshireman) thought this forum may show you that i am concerned of how you all must be feeling and i could show you that i take this and your concerns as an important matter.

 

So A2 views i am guessing are perhaps not the best? Have you ever seen the M62 now that is really a View!

Damon .. the link AFF posted is VERY old , in terms of the hotels listed - Clarendon is gone ( for guests ) , Tollgate is currently home to Skanska navvies working on new road links .

This is the premier travel inn by Woodlands Park

A bit quieter , if you can get in .Search for it by clicking on the business link .

Alternatively Sunnyside guest house / b&b

Hope this is of some help , but I don't know why - my father-in-law was from Huddersfield - I got an IOU for a wedding present !

travel inn by woodlands park is your best bet. Xltn pub and restaurant and can head to town easy from there also.
