The flat only went on the market yesterday morning, which is why I'm having to put a fair bit of time aside for prospective viewers at the moment. Four people have seen it so far, two of whom seemed quite interested and two of whom didn't - but I suppose you never can tell and it depends what else is on the market in their price range.

Personally I found FMs post most refreshing and entertaining.

 

Who knows if the old corner flag trick really worked, a trip round behind the goal and a polite enquiry of the custodian is often effective.

 

If FM continues in that manner we will see if he is a one-hit wonder or walks aimlessly down the route of cliche and hyperbole.

 

I sincerely hope this new approach lasts and "spurs" you both on to the greater heights I am confident you can both achieve.

Plan B, of course, is to listen to the players' shouts of encouragement to each other as they line up for the kick-off. Sure enough, the goalkeeper away to my right let out a loud yell of "Come on North Ken!". Always a good way of getting confirmation, although the corner flag method is usually effective.

Is this the flat in Chingford, perhaps 'Sugar' might be interested if you ask him as presumably it's just around the corner from his place of work and it will save him going home after late nights pouring over 'bundles' for the following day in Court.

I sold my flat in Forest View North Chingford a year ago. I found it so handy being just a few minutes walk to the station. I had it rented out for a while before I flogged it - i've regretted selling it ever since. Pah!

Perhaps you want to consider purchasing Football Man's flat, I'm sure he would knock a good chunk off the asking price for you and, as you know, Chingford is always going to be a sound area to invest in.
