So how does that work then? Presumably it was this that allowed Pat Sappelton to play for Crawley & Margate in the same week last season? Which team gets priority? Who does the player train with?

I'm not sure of the finer details, but basically it allows non-contract players to sign a second set of league forms for a club in a different league system (i.e. Conf or Southern, but not Ryman)... In terms of priority I guess it's up to the player, but he would be likely to go with the team that pays the most!
