Hi Guys.

 

I'm posting this as some of you may be planning trips to Ebbsfleet United games, home or away, and I want to warn you of possible fixtures changes.

 

Firstly two days that we don't yet have games arranged are Saturday the 15th of December and Saturday the 22nd of December. For both these dates we will have games. On the 15th we will play in the FA Trophy, the draw for this will take place on December the 3rd, I believe. We could play any number of teams from the non league game, we join the competition in the First Round but there is, I believe, three qualifying rounds of which I think two have been played, the 3rd Qualifying Round will be on the 24th of November.

On the 22nd we play in the Setanta Shield. We come in to this one at the Fourth Round with the Third Round is to be played on the Fourth of December. Our first match in this competition will be on a Saturday, all the other games in this competition, provided we get through, will be on Tuesday Evenings.

Now for possible fixture changes.

 

On January the Fifth we are scheduled to play Weymouth, however the FA Cup Third Round is due to be played on this day and at the moment Weymouth are still in the competition. Provided they beat Cambridge United then our match will be cancelled. Please bear this in mind when booking flights, hotels etc. Their match with Cambridge is scheduled for the 1st of December so watch out for the result.

Now for possible games that could be rearranged if we, or certain scheduled opponents, progress in the FA Trophy.

 

The matches that could be affected are as follows.

 

 

Saturday Second February 2008 - Kidderminster Harriers away.

Saturday Twenty Third February 2008 - Farsley Celtic home.

Saturday Eight March 2008 - Rushden & Diamonds home.

Saturday Fifteenth March 2008 - Halifax Town away.

Not going to happen. Weymouth lost 1-0 today to Cambridge United and so our game with the Terras will go ahead as scheduled on January 5th.

Mercifully, it's regionalised until the semi-final stage. And I was really looking forward to a trip to Barrow three days before Christmas as well...

Happy Birthday JC ect but can you please call this competition by it's real name, the Paul Parker Shield thingy. Thanks.
