If an announcement were put out that the 1st team was playing I would go & encourage everyone else to go too.

I think the KFA have a lot to answer for. Not playing the final at a neutral venue started the rot years ago, then switching it to midweek from the May Day holiday (as with our defeat at Bromley the season before last) put the nails in the coffin.

Or maybe it's a chicken & egg situation & our playing a 2nd string side has co-incided with our rise up the ladder, so in a sense it is our fault. Whatever, I would not encourage would be supporters to go & watch as it is at the moment. Not because I don't want to upset them, but because I think it might just make sense to try & encourage them to keep coming.

I can't speak for Will Brooks and don't intend to try, but in fairness to him, the club's own website homepage lists Saturday's game as the next fixture, ignoring Tuesday's altogether.

I think Tuesday might be a good chance for local MyFC members to visit the ground before Saturday's league match, even if the side is a reserve bunch. And a few extra pounds into the cashbox wouldn't hurt.

Perhaps his grand mother could become a member too so that when she picks the wrong team and we lose he can kick her.

Kicking old relatives was most of the reason I joined. I'm surprised it's taken so long for somebody to point out the benefit of this!

You have come to the right place then, we always like to give Liams granny a good shoeing before a match in case it brings us luck and when that doesn't work its all back to Stu M's place to kick his dog.

I am a bit worried that these are the sort of traditions that might get lost if the influx of money changes the friendly family club that we all love.

We are the most senior club in the competition, it is our fault the competition is devalued not the K.F.A.'s

Ooh picking the team already. Are you joining the MFC lot!! Lol laugh

I am surprised given the lack of a reserve team that we dont play a few first team players that would give us a better than even chance of winning and perhaps ensuring a few more games for the fringe players to get involved with.
