How?

Look at the thread on this very topic, where they are advised by our own supporters not to bother trying to link up with Fleet fans at this game as it will not be heavily attended.

I have supported the Fleet for 37 years & always went to all home games until the KSC became so devalued as a competition that we now play a reserve/youth side until/unless we get to the final. I will not be going on Tuesday & I believe that says nothing at all about my loyalty to the Fleet.

Don't just look to knock the MyFC element on every available opportunity - it achieves nothing, except to devalue the validity of your comments.

How? How what?

Surely as 'head honcho' of MyFC Will should be encouraging the members to turn up for every game? At the end of the day, people thru turnstiles is what really makes a football club - the more the merrier.

I wasn't knocking the MyFC element, as I am sure (and hope) there will be some on Tuesday - was having a knock at the writer of that article, I guess he 'forget' the KSC - rather than intentionally left it out.

My question was in response to you final observation that not attending on Tuesday says it all about MyFC.

I think there are quite a few things which should make us all (yes, even members of MyFC like myself) watchful of WB, but highlighting his forgetfulness, lack of interest in, or ignorance of the bloody KSC is not one of them.

Really? If I had spent the past God only knows how long planning this, I would make it high on my list of priorities to know when the next home game is, no matter what the competition is!!
After all, playing football is what this SHOULD be all about!!

If I was him, I would not advise anyone to go on Tuesday, but he can hardly do that can he?

It will be cold, probably wet & we will put out a 2nd string side, who may well lose against a full strength Ramsgate side, who will be no mugs. Any who go will be rattling around with maybe 100 die hard Fleet fans.

Hardly going to encourage people to keep attending is it?

I think the point is that if the MFC members want to be involved in the club then they're involved in EVERY game. Even the KSC ones.

If they want to pick a team, they need to pick a team for every game. Even the KSC ones.

Who cares if it's wet, rainy and windy on Tuesday. I'll be there and if Will Brooks is serious about this takeover he should at least be mentioning that it's our next home game, instead of just talking about next Saturday.

Of course I don't expect all these prospective new "owners" to turn up on Tuesday. They're not as dedicated as our supporters and why would they be. But don't ignore the fact that we're playing. Even if it is only a KSC game!!

Glad to see your loyalty chaps. If the KFA found some way to put get the KSC back to the competition it once was, I'd be delighted & overcome the many obstacles there are to stop me going to evening matches and which I always manage to side step for league games & FA Cup/trophy replays.

However, if I wanted to sell the Fleet to prospective new fans(which WB has to do to his MyFC members) I would not advise them to go along to a KSC game.

Oh dear, we don't want to let the new "owners" see a crappy little KSC game do we ?

Maybe when they take over, we will withdraw from this competition as it belittles our perceived status ? For KSC read UEFA cup ?....I'll be long gone mate....pushing up the daisies !!

We are the most senior club in the competition, it is our fault the competition is devalued not the K.F.A.'s
