That is about the sum of it Ian.

Still have 'No Idea' what its all about. There is clearly a different mindset of person associated with football, the plastics who usually support Arsenil, Manure, etc who crave success and therefore leave the NL scene well alone. As you say we seem to have attracted a whole horde of them.

It took us 20 years and down two divisions to get back into the Conference and no doubt once the party is over in a few years time the same will happen again.

You won't get there by putting new Duckboards down in the Sniper Toilet, so you don't ruin your Patent Leather Boots!

This just shows again, the lack knowledge from your members!
The Diehards, will tell you, without a substantial improvement in the playing staff, the club won't be going anywhere!
Back to Semi-professional maybe!

Its not exactly conducive to a free flow of ideas when you selectively target small comments and then act as though that's all that was said.

Yes money will go into the squad, but not just the squad. If you think that we're instantly going to spend the entire budget on as many new players as we can grab then you're severely deluded by what is actually going to happen.

As for the Premiership if you think thats the short term goal then that's another blow to your credibility. The criteria that we can make the Premiership was, in the first instance, to limit the club selection to teams in the FA, and then as a secondary and, if you will, pie in the sky type premise a long term and probably unobtainable goal. Noone expects us to jump up and up and up.

The best thing you can do is forget all about the squad. Liam takes care of that.

Best to use the money to concentrate on the other aspects of the club such as new ground prep, improvements etc. Little acorns and all that.

I am one of the 400. I didn't want to be and felt totally guilty doing it but had an absolute need to know what is going on.

From viewing it firsthand, I can now see that this whole thing is substandard, deluded and unsustainible. I still cannot work out how you make an initial post. Look and feel is crap and that says a lot about a website.

Some of the stuff I have read concerning a wide range of topics ranging from boardroom politics to team selection of the Fleet is frankly scary.

I hate it all.

How is this known? Are they paid-up members or have they just registered? I'm not a member so I have little idea of what information is readily-available. Is it based on where I.P. addresses are located? In which case, calling them all "fans" is open to question.

Sorry if I've missed something explaining all this...
