Digusted of Gate

Just got home from the Maidstone Game and i'm digusted at what I have just seen. I have been going to Hartsdown Park for a nunmber of years and have not seen such disgraceful supporters as Maidstone's.

Their language was disgusting, their jokes very distateful favourite one being if you dig a garden up in Margate your bound to find a body.

But worst of all they terrified a elderly couple that was standing in front of me, by crushing them into the barrier and nearly knocking them flying. It was absolutely digusting, they had no manners or respect for anybody. Me and my family had to protect the couple and lead them at the end as they were shaking with fear.

If we want families to attend games we can't tolerate such behaviour.

This should not be allowed to happen and we complained to the steward after the game. Such a display should not be allowed to happen and feel strongly that a complaint should be made.

I dread to think what will happen when they visit Ramsgate.

Youre absolutly right the worst ive seen at Hartsdown . If this happens again or you fear that someone could get hurt , please tell a steward straight away then we can do something .I hope that the club complain to Maidstone and next season if we have to play them they segregate their animals down the Coffin end .

The information about the old couple was definately passed on to Margate's Directors at the end.

As I said elsewhere there has already been an apology from the Maidstone chairman (well, at least I am sure that was what was said - there was about three conversations going at the time!) so even he is disappointed by his fans action.

BluePineapple, not sure if it was you chatting with me at the end about segregation but to be perfectly honest, even if it was down to me I probably would not have anticipated a need for it. Although I expected them to bring quite a few I was still surprised by their actual turnout and I am sure Margate FC will have been too. I have not seen any reports from other clubs about problems with Maidstone fans but I must admit that after today segregation would certainly be a consideration for next season, which is a shame because even the likes of AFC Dons and Chelmsford have proved that large turnouts do not necessarily hasten the need to keep everyone apart.

Its disgraceful indeed if what they said & did was true & I am not doubting what people are saying for a second.I personally didnt see or hear any.But if true then very poor behaviour indeed. I agree.

BUT one thing you have to congratulate them on is their turn out today. Not all will have behaved badly I'm sure so for those others that made the journey in impressive numbers & behaved like true fans do, well done to those fans of MUFC. Impressive turn out!

What was the official attendance figure by the way?

Sorry to hear a couple of idiots ruined the day for some. Stones do travel in large numbers and overall are a good hearted bunch.

Can you please keep up all the postings on here as you are getting more coverage than the Ebbsfleet fingy. If you can shut them up Ian will give me my box back smile

I hope you get your defence sorted out..... In anticipation of my box i thank you laugh
