Good shout!!

We all seem to be quick on the fire when things dont go our way and criticise selection, tactics etc (sometimes just but most times through anger & frustration) but not often do we praise especially after a bold move in playing some youth players yesterday.
I'm sure if it hadn't paid off there would be many who question his decison again.

Well done JC & the lads, lets make this the start of a good run leading up to & beyond the festive season.

I also agree. It was very pleasing to see the 2 boys play so well on their debuts, well done to both Max and Luke - they do not look out of their depths at all, and will only get better - gives JC even more to think about. Getting some of the youngsters involved can only be a good thing - I think what we have been lacking is a bit of youth and pace in the midfield of late.

Both of the boys look to get the ball down and play. Luke has good pace about him and Max gives you an aerial presence in the middle, which surprised me for someone of his build. Like I said, very pleasing.

Have to agree with Stone Cold and Wise One, JC and the boys deserve credit for a big 3 points away from home so soon after a loss to Canvey. I admit that when I saw the teamsheet I was very sceptical, but was proven wrong by a sound performance. I don't think anyone really had a bad game - Hasler was unlucky with the goal but deserves a lot of credit for picking his head up and pulling off a couple of fine saves. Harvey and Kofi were big players at the back in my book, and Foster took his chance and got the goals (nothing more he can do......apart from the fact you should have had a hat-trick Oz wink ) - from what I saw on Saturday he is definitely good enough to be in the squad as our 3rd striker (we know the capabilities of RC and BH). Saying this, if he is scoring he should keep his place.

Come on the Towners!! Onwards and upwards.

PS. The ref was a jobsworth that is for sure and was too inconsistent, and Jamie's challenge did not warrant a 2nd yellow, but a lot of the yellows were maybe justified. It's just that you often get away with them at our level.

Luke kicking the ball away, Kofi's blatant hand of god, Harvey's challenge and Rudi's challenge (a bit late) - probably all yellows at a higher level. The others I either can't remember or think were a little harsh.

Oh really, thanks for that information, I'm not aware of the fundamentals of football.

Be nice now!!...... I've been watching non-league football for enough years to know what I'm talking about. You come across as a know it all - you clearly must hand me down some of this wisdom wink

From what I see of certain Towner fans at games, the older you get the more blinded your judgement and viewpoint becomes grin

Certainly not a 'know it all' as you say MST.

I know a lot but a lot I don't know. In a few years time I will probably have forgotten what I know now or what I knew some time in the distant ..... now what was that word?
