Youthteamers Marshall & Mitchell started and played quite well ,with Velendia,Campbell,Negus on the bench.

 

Ref was a joke.Booked a hatfull of Town players for next to nothing.Very Petty.

 

Played a flat back four with a new centre back (Tom?) .He may have been a youthteamer as well,not sure

 

We still have quite a few players not available and overall quality of team still looked weak,but we played better than we did in the last two games (which isn't saying much).Foster also had easily his best game in a Town shirt. (which again...)

For a second week the results went our way too and Town went 4th!

 

Great first freekick goal from Rudi. Curled around the wall with so much spin the keeper failed to catch it and it spun into the goal.

 

second goal from Ozzie Simple tap in from a corner 0 - 2.

 

Secondhalf towns team talk must have been something else. We came out and defended until ball bounced over Charlie Hasler for a goal 1 - 2.

 

Ozzie the nailed a second 1 - 3.

 

Hasler beaten again 2 - 3. Suddenly the ref was doing all he could to book players. Jamie Nay sending off was a joke. He pulled out of a tackle made no contact with the player who fell to the ground and got him sent off! Poor lad was dumbfounded and so were the town fans. Just show the quality of Fissenden the Referee with his bookings.

Better, but still as LS put it "weak", not sure what was said at half time but we came out a lot deeper & defensive in the second half, why? This led to us being overun for periods by a very poor Tilbury side.

 

Ozzie run his heart out, the kids got good experience, and we got three points.

 

Must say our last three bookings were fully deservered, Rudi took someone out when the ball was nowhere to be seen, the youngster got booked for kicking the ball away & Nay's second booking looked valid too although I was fifty yards away, yes the ref was poor but we dont help ourselves do we? Not sure but I think Bastian was booked for descent, so thats four of our six bookings you cant really argue with the other two i cant remember, but if we carry on we will not be able to put a team out soon due to suspensions.

 

Oh & as much as I'm happy to give the second goal to Ozzie it was definatly an OG by their number four.

Ref....Mr FUSSenden, was very poor to both teams BUT particularly biased towards Tilbury who seemed to get free kicks for no reason what-so-ever.

The number of Town players booked was totally stupid. As for the sending off...well.

 

3 - 2 looks a close game, but to be honest it was not.

 

Credit to Jim for giving the side a shake up - however, the team today will not face Redbridge.

 

3 points well earned against 12 in black + white.

Good to see home grown talent being used these young players are the future of our club and we must keep giving them opertunities to gain the experence to make enfield the club that can breed there own and achive resalts. i was speaking to mike smee who is bringing these young players through and he said that the club have more to come from the youth over the next couple of years he says theres an under sixteen boy who could be the best player that has come through. HOPE HIS RIGHT. I also believe robbie carroll is playing for Hertford town We should bring him back.

Ozzie Foster was winning balls in the air when he was the target man up front and in the middle in the first half. What happened after the break? He was playing all over the place, even at right back!

 

Somebody in the crowd even shouted to him to stay in the middle up front and he nearly scored his second/third!

 

Well played Ozzie!

 

5 bookings and 1 sending off straight after a board meeting which we were told was to discuss player discipline. We cannot keep blaming the officials.

 

I have heard that there is a certain supporter who is still waiting for his chips!
