I know you cant hold back a talented player, but if he is good enough to play for England C , I would hope he could be with Fleet for a while yet ?

 

 

When typing this, I put "could be with us " , am I allowed to do that , or is it offensive from a neebie of 5 days ?

Unlike some of your members...Yorkfox.......I believe you can say whatever you like..........I may not agree with you, but that's life!

I am on record, I don't know how many times now,as saying, I fully believe there are genuine football fans amongst you. I also believe there aren't! There are some playing Soccer Manager 2007-The Reality, and some that have far darker intentions.

 

 

Come back in three to five years..........and if this is still benefitting the Club...........I will humbly apologise to you, and drive down to North Carolina and kiss rsheards...........Whatever is the least offensive.....His Feet, or his ar$e!

Its been fun, thanks for the info and the chat, we do need it as we dont know much, but are learning. I sincerly hope that in 5 years time, we ( thank you ) are in the league and making steady progress. The odd cup match would be nice to have the chance to give a bigger team a bloody nose.

 

Can we have a talk sometime about the grub down there ?, as I know many myfc members are keen on their pies !

Hope you coped with the tension on the "thread" ok ? You should have been there, it was quite good. I note that The Wail on Sunday said that Oxford were all over us ( when I say us, I am talking about citizens of the Borough of Gravesham and those ex pats who have moved on !), in which case why did the NLP make Turley man of the Match ?

I suppose then.............If the scheme is a success in 3 to 5 years, and I keep my promise and make financial support available...............I'll be called a glory seeker? wink

Thats not even a little bit true is it AFF?

We lost Charlie because he wanted to play at higher level, quite right he deserved it, we didn't get any money for him because we couldn't persuade him to sign a longer contract.

Hmm, 'play' might be pushing it - he's only had 4 starts! Can't be good for him - wonder if he's looking for a club to take him on loan!

Fleetwood Mac would be genius. No hope of getting either though. MYFC people need to understand how it works at this level. If only we could get rid of this albatross...

 

I have a confession to make in that I have paid my £35 today and joined up/enlisted/got dragged in.

 

After reading the forums (which is all it seems to be), I am becoming more convinced that this is a lot of deluded people thinking that they can do something. It's not going to happen. How can people have an honest say in an internet poll on a team that they have never seen live cos they live in Brisbane and have paid up? Get real people.

 

Fair play if people come to watch the side. I'm all for that. However, I'm not ever seriously listening to someone from Canada whatever his reasons are*.

 

 

* AFF is the exception to the rule here :-)
