please please be patient ..its beyond belief what has been done...we need to hold our nerves...on this one and not start blaming people or things if the project slips...into more delays all i can say things are moving forward...albeit slowly...

youve given up on us all...the club got rid of MD and now is trying its very very best , with lots of parties involved including the trust..yet you keep having snipes..the club would appreciate your help..too...we are in this together now...and youshould come back and get involved.

That is absolutely [****!!****] Warren and you know it. Liam has supported Slough for his entire adult life and always will. There is a difference between wanting the team to do well on the pitch and supporting the "club" slavishly. Having said that I am convinced we are moving in the right direction but I'm not going to criticise Liam for taking more convincing.

Bracknell i believe will pull out of relegation,with newport all but finished im trying to think who will go down with them,well if the arbour vale project does fall through and we do get relegated theres always plan B

Liam supported slough all his life ? cant remember that far back ..anyhow the point is if we all took liam's way the club would have died long ago...so we have to appreciate all that have stayed on board and thank our lucky stars they don't think like liam...

 

The observer article is about right ... the final draft to the council was delivered to the Town Hall and the leaders of all the parties yesterday 16th Nov - this goes to scrunity on the 4th Dec for the officer to make it a recommended proposal and the councillor should be ready to make the next decision on the 18th December 2007...

 

nothing much the club can do in the mean time....but wait...but this will cause us to make some more efforts on fund raising to take us upto the 18th Decemeber - so if you can help ..its will be appreciated...

Warren, do you not have the ability to understand words? Did I say I had stopped supporting the club? No I don't think I did. What I did say was that I was sick of the crappy standard of football being served up which every single one of our managers had claimed is adequate, from Denton to West and now to Wilkinson. There are too many players who are simply not up to the standard due to age and yet are still getting games (Daly is the one that immediately springs to mind). I'm tired that this is the third stadium preposal to come up and the last two went the way of the dodo. I'm fed up that somehow we have the money to part-fund a stadium but yet supporters are throwing money into a bucket to pay the players. I'm sick to death of players abusing supporters for expressing an opinion. I've honestly had enough of a group of supporters who after nearly a decade of lies, half-truths, mis-direction and false dawns seem to think that we are about to turn a corner. These are the cold hard facts: We are OUT of every cup competition by November. We have won THREE league games this season. By all reports we have played 90 MINUTES of what could be called 'decent football' all season.

 

And as for everyone thinking like me... there has to be a reason why we've lost nearly 100 people off of our average attendance in the last two years, so why are you all so willing to jump down my throat? Come on geniuses like Sliski and Warren! Why target me?

This is life in general , your life will have the same turns as above ...nothing different to our football club ....

 

What the hell do you think we do this for ? I have the club at heart , which ever road we are forced down...its no good giving up when all around have seamed to have lost their heads ..I have been associated with this club for over 40 years ..and yet I can see some light and we have to change things for ourselves ..we have worked endlessly trying to get a future for this club , yet its so easy to just throw stones all the time ..

 

If you would open your eyes ..the club is more together as regards to things off the pitch than ever before in the last 9 years ..we have been working together ..we have no fairy tale answers ..but if someone does not put their heart and sole into this club ..who else will.... you ? I Doubt it...

 

Its not a go at you ..but please understand you are not the only one at the club to think about ....

 

Just today ..we have had our club offices and club shop broken into ...Kevin's portacabin also has been ransacked ..who's going to go and sort this mess out ..the same people that have the club in their hearts .... but we have to bounce back and sort it out...I am getting very depressed that you can not see how some people work bloody hard to try and stear this club through a mine field ..yet you can make terrible judgements ..and try to undermine the work some people do around here...
