Is anything being done to try and stop it from going through? I imagine it still has to be approved by the FA and also has to pass the Conference's "fit and proper person" test. Surely there's time for a bit of a campaign to get going to keep Ebbsfleet for its supporters?

If you succeeded in preventing the takeover you wouldn't be keeping EUFC for it's supporters but for those already in ownership.

 

This then poses the question - will they continue to bank-roll the on-going losses of the club. It is clear from Brian Kilcullen's comments today that he wasn't willing to do this. Clearly the directors have been looking for another source for investment in the club outside of their own pockets. And their solution was to approach MyFC.

 

If the current owners decided to pull the plug - would the existing ST be in a position to take up the reins and maintain the club in its present status?

It's be a question for the fans of Ebbsfleet to decide - whether to form again and work their way up in ownership of their club rather than see this takeover go through - only they can answer that.

 

But it certainly seems that lots of football fans would be willing to help them in whatever course of action they take. I don't think I've seen such a groundswell of reaction since the Wimbledon to Milton Keynes thing happened.
