I'm not even an EUFC fan and i can see this is a sh*t piece of business for anyone that cares about the club, A bunch of no nothing muppets thinking they can do a job where they are obviously not wanted......

go back to your sofa/champ manager and leave football alone.

You kind of proved ItsBusiness' point. No matter what anyone from MyFC says, you've pre-determined that we're both idiots and brainwashed.

I invite you to read through all of the FAQs and the Terms and Conditions for MyFC--available on the front page of the website--and you'll see that we're neither. THEN we might actually have a discussion instead of insults.

Its first and foremost a takeover and happens all the time in football. Its designed to improve the club and its prospects. I dont understand what your point is. No, we're not a cult. No, we're not deluded. We are people, all football fans, all wanting to give something back to the game.

Upwards of 700,000 pounds each year
Increased revenue
Increased sales
More publicity
Better sponsorship

Yes, what a load of sh*t - what club would want that !

No-one except the "Head Coach"
From the MyFC site...
"Members will then submit their preferred 11, formation and tactics. A database will calculate the most popular choice. This will be handed to The Head Coach to instigate."

Isnt that 'doing as you say'?

Yes, But employers usually do tell the employees what to do, especially when it is with their money.

I meant that fans don't have to do what we say. Just as you don't have to do what your current owners say.

Remember it is they who will be selling, we are not hostile, it's trade and demand. They approached us.

In 2 posts you have gone from "Nobody has to do anything they're told" to "Employers do tell the employees what to do"

Is it any wonder that GENUINE Fleet fans are concerned about MyFC? You really dont seem to have an idea what you will/will not can/cannot do at the club!

What price comes with this "estimated 700k" per year... a club that is crushed within 2 years because of the flawed thinking of 20,000 people....

I have read the FAQ, i watched with horror as this debacle snowballed and had more and more deluded wannabes get hooked by the thought of making a difference.

Well good job guys, 20,000 people have just helped one clever trickster to buy a football club and have more say over it than anyone else has any chance of.

While i'm here i have a 103k mortgage, I am setting up a website where you can pay £25 each and own 1 blade of grass on my lawn, you can choose the length it is cut to, whther to use lawn treatment AND EVEN decide how often to water it ! ! !

now doesn't that sound like an attractive propostition chumps?

Actually Patman my initial comment "Nobody has to do anything they're told" was in response to your comment "Now, now CUFC, theres 20,000 of them now - everyone has to do as they say from now on...."

Which if you look back stems from my pointing out that this is a forum and not an insult trading game.

One person doesn't have control. When you read all the items did you miss the bits about voting? You know the parts that actually sold the idea.

Fairplay, I can't argue with that. Personally I do find the thing quite funny, I do feel for the fans, but I also see the irony in people being upset about receiving a large sum of money.
A large sum that could hopefully be repeated each year and if it isn't? well at least you had the surge of cash this year.

Hi Pat,

As much as I understand your frustration and anger about this (as this concept is completely new) I find it a bit unfair to leave out the first part;

"The Head Coach will brief members. This will include a review of the previous match, reports from the training ground and views on the forthcoming opposition. He will also give his thoughts on players, their form and fitness, as well as possible selections and tactics."

I find it highly unlikely people would pay a yearly fee just to destroy a club, of course there seems to be a few (the_gaffer and TheOwner who are the same person by the way), yet we are more than 53 000 members. Being extremely negative here, I would say at least 52 000 would want something good to your club. I know I for one will stick with Liams opinions until I consider myself knowing enough to vote "myself". Obviously, even if I know enough about the club/players myself, then mine and Liams picks would proly be the same anyways?

As I've said before, I understand everyone's anger and frustration, but I actually do believe not much will change. There is a reason all staff will remain, that is to inform and brief us about what they think, and as I said before - I'm confident the majority will vote what the staff suggests smile

Now I guess many raise the question "Then why the heck do you join if you're going to vote whatever the staff thinks anyways?". Well, the main reason was that it would be exciting to have a club to follow more closely as swedish football is rubbish but I also thought that it would be looked upon as more helping than destroying because of the reasons I mentioned above. I'm becoming more and more unsure as I read through this forum, but I still feel confident nothing will change to the worse neither on nor off the pitch. Why would we want that...?

Regards/
Viktor

ps. Sorry if my english is a bit bad, I'm home with a nasty flu (and english is just my secondary language)

The most popular club, as voted for by MyFootballClub members, and the one that most closely meets the following criteria, will be purchased

Funny I don't think Ebsfleet were the most popular until the last 24 hours. Seems like a very select few decided rather than the mass.

It's not about the money ! ! ! are you stupid?

Ebbsfleet i believe currently sit 10th in the league (5 or so places outside playoffs) and you know something they did that on their own merit without your BIG CASH you are promising.

A football club isn't only a success because of money if it was chelsea would be top of the prem right now and not dropped a point.

Oh and what's to say that the 20,000 votes will be fairly counted and reported? even with independent adjudication no one is above a bribe if the price is right. I believe that you have all been duped by a clever man. And i think many more than 20,000 people throughout the world would agree with my viewpoint..... that makes my arguement so much stronger than yours YAY for the power behind numbers ! ! !
