The biggest of the many benefits...

...is the largest and most comprehensive scouting network in the history of world football.

On another thread someone was bemoaning that the new owners won't have seen Charlie Mac play. Personally I was watching him play ten years before you lot was. And that got me thinking... If the takeover goes through, on an average Saturday afternoon there will be G&N owners in attendance at OVER A THOUSAND FOOTBALL MATCHES, from top flight to park, throughout the UK and indeed the world. That will give you the biggest scouting network ever seen with people able to suggest potential transfer targets on the MyFC site etc.

With that scouting network behind you, if you didn't have the strongest squad outside the Premier League within 2-3 years, something will have gone terribly, terribly wrong.

The benefits of the takeover just keep adding up, don't they?

Will MyFC stick around then? If its all gone terribly, terribly wrong I mean?
Fleet should at least be a mid-table Championship side with the strongest squad outside the Premier League - all this in 3 years!

Dream on clowntown, just how far do you think £700K will go?

If MyFc manage to assemble a squad capable of winning promotion 18 months from now (won't happen this year), just how much would it cost to bring up the ground to Football League standard?

It's going to cost you a lot more than £35, you will need a large contingent of MyFc members at every home game to sustain the club.Saying you will support Fleet when they play in your home town may give a bit of a boost to the players but it won't boost the coffers.

How long will it be before MyFc realise more money is needed and is obtainable and introduce a Platinum MyFc membership scheme and alienate their original members. What a delicious irony that would be.
