Or alternatively, it was set at a low enough price to encourage lots of people to part with their £7.50 admin fee.

The unfortunate price of inclusion. It turns out I was wrong yesterday about thegaffer. He IS a MyFC member and has taken loads of heat on the MyFC boards for his behavior here yesterday.

But fortunately, for every one of him, there are scores of serious football fans who genuinely want this to succeed. So, we'll take his money, smack him upside the head occasionally, and push his opinions and votes to the fringe where they can't harm anything. With large numbers, the fringe members don't have any power.
