FOR FLEET FANS GOING TO OXFORD

In his defence, he was merely talking about if someone steals his seat, and as that's next to me, I'd imagine most would be unwilling to give it up without a fight smile

It's also worth noting that the guy in question doesn't really have a violent bone in his body and would most like just scream at you like a schoolgirl with a grazed knee.

However, if you believe that there isn't going to be a hell of a divide between yourselves and the Fleet supporters, I think you're kidding yourselves

B*gger my old boots....two days into this debacle and I am getting told off by new "owners" or rather Jonny Come Yesterdays already !!

Read the rest of the board when you have time, you may find that humour/irony & general p*ss takes are still alive and well in North Kent !.......and I was responding to Chas anyway !

No, I'm too long in the tooth to think that. Of course there will be a divide. My only hope is that time will prove this to be the best thing that has happened to the club. And hopefully that divide will close.

If Ebbsfleet were the second club to be doing this, the second club to be trying this model of ownership, after an already succesful scheme elsewhere, maybe the feelings would be less pessimistic.

But we have a real chance here of being pioneering, being the first, a model that other clubs will follow.

I'm really optimistic about it. First and foremost I want to see Ebbsfleet do well, I want to be proud that we helped with the transition to the league, and beyond to who knows what level of achievement.

And secondly I want to prove to the world that a community owned club can succeed. Football club ownership shouldn't be a privilage for the rich few, it should belong to the people who love the game.

A small example, but you'd still be Gravesend And Northfleet today if you owned the club yourselves.

Now you're talking laugh

Right, chips it is. So, I guess we need to debate potato type, oil, types of sauce, single or double frying. Wonder if there are any chip fryers in the MyFC membership?

After that we'll make a start on the pies smile

Come on Stu.........Aim higher..........Somebody(and I won't reveal his/her name for fear of Kenny's wrath)told me that you could write everything Kenny knows about Football, on the back of a postage stamp, and still have room for the Complete Works of Shakespeare!

KENNY FOR CHAIRMAN!...He should fit in well with the new owners!

I'll give it a go, but my older shirts may be a bit tight fitting...has that come back into fashion ? I recall seeing girls in the summer with bare midriffs so equal rights and all that a ??
