Unfortunately I am unable to get to all games or make an applicationt to be a Board Member due to work / running a business.

However, that does not mean that I and all supporters do not have some ideas which just may help.

I do not find the Board supporter friendly - do they think they are special or something ?

There have been many ideas placed on this forum by supporters trying to help THEIR CLUB, but these points are never taken up by those in control.

Not everyone can be there at the Sunday working parties or early at matches to help, but that does not make them any lesser a supporter does it. It's called circumstances.

Why can't we have a suggestions box in the Club Shop or have a Members only electronic access to give points to the Board.

A bit of "forward thinking" by those voted in by the supporters ( to represent the supporters views ) would help.

Great Idea to have a suggestion box in the shop, can someone make one & we'll have it on the counter for the next home game.

BR..You've got off lightly over the last couple of days.I've been looking at the forum but couldn't post.

Anyway,do us all a favour and keep your beak out of our business.Whether you really are connected to Brimsdown or a 1893-er on a wind-up,i don't really care.On here,we can do without ulteria motivated agitators.

Well, hopefully we can get away from the Brimmo dump at some point in the future, take our stands and leave you back where you were a few years ago with a park pitch and reduced bar income. Once that is achieved what we do won't affect you.

What "we" have done Soppy is to take "your" crap ground and lifted into some sort of football ground with the introduction of a couple of stands, seats, supporter cover, turnstiles etc etc, not to mention the fantastic improvement to the playing surface.

Now list what your Club have done.

If you are a player as you state elsewhere, then you will fully appreciate the improvements to the surroundings.

The pitch is a lot better yeah, but you can take your stands and stick them you know where for all I care mate.

Yes, its not exactly like you have any fans to actually make use of them is it?.Although saying that,Brimsdwon will never pass ground requirements for any half decent league without those stands. blush

Also, the fact that the pitch is looking better is not because anyone from Brimsdown lifts a finger to work on it.In fact its the opposite. Brimsdwon do their best to knacker the pitch by letting their reserves/vets/sunday teams constantly over use the pitch. (oh yeah, and by letting it out to any other local team who are willing to cross your palms with some small change).

Lemon/BR,its a bit silly to start winding up people who could soon have a 50% say in what happens of Goldsdown road.In the words of that German officer on Dads Army 'Your names will be first on the list' whistle

You may be made to look very silly in a few months time.If Town do get 50% ownership, how will you be able to show your face again at Goldsdown road?

From my understanding BRSCC own no more than the prefab Bar and changing rooms, second hand turnstiles and a grey metal fence.Enfield council can lease the actual land to whom they choose. After the way Brimsdown has been run for the past few decades, you should be grateful the council are still willing to offer you a good share of the lease this time around. smile

Perhaps one day the "stand etc" will go as ETFC own them.
The ground will look sad place without them.

Anyway, it's all if's, but's and maybe's at the moment, so you will just have to live with it.

I don't care. I was there before you came along and what we had was adequate for the Spartan. Anyway they're not our stands, as we keep being reminded. I'd rather you did take them down wherever you go,I don't want another clubs hand me downs.

we should treat each other with more respect we have both gained from each other but i do agree enfield are working harder to make the ground better and that is frustratin as if we both put the time in the ground would improve even more. yes and hopefully we will have our own ground soon then you can get on with your own afairs and we could get on with ours.
