Loyalty

One of my main criticisms of the myfc model is the loyalty of their members towards our club. Just how many of their members are going to be that interested in how we do. I mean a £35 stake in something is not a lot, as opposed to a single owner with a £400k stake in club, who I'd imagine would be pretty damn interested in how the clubs run.

I mean, only a very small proportion of their members have expressed enough interest as to comment on this forum. How many of the total members just aren't gonna be that bothered at all?! At the end of the day our clubs about to be run by a collective of people, the majority of whom will lose interest quickly, leaving our club to rot after you've finished using it as your plaything. I just don't have faith in the myfc collective's ability to run and manage a football team. Unless your a loyal supporter, you'd never have enough interest to make decisions effectively.

And how many people who have invested large sums of money have f*ck-up the club afterwards - Bates, Ridsdale, Haslam, Noades - I could go on but I'm sure you get the picture.

Do you really want 10,000-20,000 people flooding this forum? I think that would be inappropriate and a large number of members consciously stayed away or, if they did come here to observe, refrained from posting.

The buzz on the MyFC forum has been absolutely incredible since yesterday morning. The enthusiasm for Ebbsfleet has surprised me. I hope that it is carried over into every other facet of EUFC. Time will tell.

By the way-
about 4,000 new members signed-up yesterday and the sign-up rate this morning so far has been between 50-100 per hour. Already an extra £100,000 in funds available for the club.

What a shame that they didn't follow Ebbsfleet prior to this week !!!

I cannot understand why fans of other clubs, some in the Conference ( and therefore rivals ), want to have a part in another club that they have no allegiance to !

Probably because £35 is nothing to pay for a new toy these days !! Let's hope that the new Christmas morning toy doesn't get broken too early and leave the recipient in tears !!
