I have been watching for 43 years now I can remember arriving at 5.00pm waiting for the gates to open to get a position behind the goal at the Stonebridge end to watch them play Sunderland on that cold winters night and watching wide eyed at J Montgomery in goal for them.You can not buy into memorys like this.I would hope that the new followers of the "FLEET" can respect this and the immense feeling of sorrow when I recieved that letter from the board yesterday.

On reflection of what has happened I have joined the stream of people and put my £35.00 in the kitty.My reasons are without this type of deal unless we can find a rich Russian or Arab we are stuck in limbo land.the gate of 800 to 1200 is not enough to sustain a push to league status and stay there.We have all moaned (or most)at the lack of facilitys at the ground,lack of information from the board thats ongoing even now!!!.Where the sponsorship money is going how much was it?.We should do it this way or that way.

Well I feel now that there is a chance to ask these questions and have a imput however small and give the club a chance to aspire to the hights I have always prayed they would go.If it goes pear shaped as any thing can I will see the loyal faithfly at Riverview standing behind a rope watching Kent League(even Northfleet Recs gone)Let all get behinh the new sceme even how much it hurts inside they will never kill my2MIGHTY FLEET"
