I hear a rumour he is going to join Ebbsfleet after quitting St.Albans City yesterday - he is supposed to be a tidy Centre Back - anyone heard if it's true? Or actually seen him in action?

right, im not having a go, and i will honestly shut up and leave after this post, but is this going to be a response from every mfc member??

 

If so i re-iterate my questions and concern, How is the club going to get run if these people get a say in what they don't know!!!

 

So you may get a report, or written paragraph by someone who has seen hom play then you can vote, but thats useless, surely you need to let someone informed make the final decision??

Im a little confused - did you mean to answer my thread? What exactly have I done wrong by asking this question? (It's not even related to the MyFC/Ebbsfleet topic)

But my point was just if this was a typical response from an mfc member, then I dont see how they will make a good decision, considering they have nothing real like seeing him play a couple of times to go on, and how many of them can judge as well as coach/manager/ scout etc.

It's me that should apologise for posting so soon after this news announcement, rather insensitive of me.

Anyway, concerning the point you made, he is a player who played in a division BELOW Ebbsfleet (G&N) so Im not sure you can really infer anything about 'outsiders' and their team selection abilities from my question about him - I was just curious if any southern based (since he played in the Blue Square South league) footie fans had happened to see him in action. He was apparently their player of the year previously, and sounds like a bit of a gem. Im really hoping he joins the Fleet - and as a fellow poster joked above, he comes with his own nickname: "Boon".

Concerning the team selection thing - as far as I can see it will still be Daish calling the shots - he will produce the player training reports which MyFC has to rely on, so has a big influence on who gets picked. I just see the MyFC input as a 'token' gesture.

There was a rumour about Elphick before 'the big news' cos a paper in St Albans had mentioned he was coming here, but nothing seems to have come of it.

I dont see the need for us to vote on player selections/formations/Trades. Just doesnt seem manageable and underminds the Manager and his staff.Just my opinion, thats all.

 

If we want to vote on sacking him if he does not perform, fine.

 

Lets also have EUFC Fans ( Shareholders/season tix holders ) Vote on us taking over their club while were at it.just a thought

How many games do you think is 'underperforming' judged on? The vast majority of MyFC admit to knowing LESS THEN NOTHING about the Fleet, how do you expect to judge the manager?
