As I said on another post with a budget I think Kirk could get a very good side together. Last year we were 3/4 players short of a very good side and with a bit of dosh he could have got them.

 

Kirk had several players willing to come to the Manor but with no cash they went elsewhere. He does know alot of players.

I totally agree with a bit of dosh he would and I know some of those players you are on about, there are players that are at decent clubs and a high level but would drop down for a small fee to play for the big man.

you have to look at the local area and see 1)whos unemployed and 2)who has done a good job 3) who is going to take them a whole new team cos theyve got no players and 4)someone who may have been associated with barking in the past!

 

i would say you could be looking at kris taylor from barkingside, mark reed maybe, what about the right back whos been there ages, bennett??

 

then what about someone like carl griffiths who wants a managerial job.

 

id have a long shot on steve portway. not playing anymore and ambitions in management. would certainly know loads of players and knows the league.

Smallsy I don't think Kris Taylor would leave Side or Reedy leave Rumford. I think Portaway will get a coaching role higher up. I think you're right that it may be a current Barking player or an ex Barking mananger coming back.

Boss I was thinking the same thing. Russell is a friend of mine and Ross has done a really good job. But do you think he can step up from reserve level. Look at Spittle at Aveley.
