A MFC Member's 2 Pennies Worth

Hi,

 

I am one of the 20,000 MFC Members, and was delighted this morning when i found out we were finally taking over a club.

 

However, i have said this from the beginning, i sympathise with all the Ebbsfleet fans out there who OPPOSE the takeover. I can only imagine what you must be feeling, and I know i would be gutted if Norwich got took over by a bunch of Football Fans.

 

I think the main reason I would be gutted is down to the fact that NOBODY knows how this is going to go. This could play out amazingly, and Ebbsfleet could be staring at year after year of League 2 Football, maybe even League 1. However it could go tits up, and go completely wrong.

 

Of course No one, not 1 member of MFC or an Ebbsfleet supporter wants to see this takeover mess up the long term future of the club, i for one am sure that it wont.

 

There are bound to be teething problems, there are with anything, and I really do hope that MFC members and Ebbsfleet supporters can get along as a cohesive unit.

 

Yes, of course Norwich will remain my number 1 club, Im yellow and Green through and through, home and away, but whenever i can il be coming to watch Ebbsfleet, and im sure they will fast develope into my 2nd favourite team (hell, i already want a shirt!)

 

All in all, lets all see how this plays out. I know people will reply to this and other threads angrilly, and that is understandable, but lets give this a chance to work, and hopefully it will only improve a club with enormous potential.

As much as I hate to agree with a Norwich Fan, I'm also a MyFc Member and feel that the purchase of the Ebbsfleet United is nothing but a good thing for its supporters.

 

MyFc is a non-profit organisation so the members are not doing this for the money, every member is a football fan looking to put their knowledge and say towards making your club reach the success it surely deserves.

 

Everyone is looking to make this team climb the football leagues, the same as any Chairman, Investor or Supporter.

 

(p.s. Hope you get some results soon Rob, Norwich is too big a team for League 1)

Why give it a chance to work? Why not accept that most of the fans of G&NFC don't want you in the first place, and leave them alone?
