As a MYFC member I would like to apologise for some of the insensitive remarks from people towards loyal fans from Gravesend/Ebbsfleet and would like to add that the reason I decided to join was that I am fed up with my team (West Ham) charging upto £60 for a home ticket and even my local team (Colchester) charging £20 per ticket. both of these clubs have sufficient money and are bankrolled by wealthy individuals who have no real regard for the fans. As such I thought it would be a good idea for my money to go towards a club who would make good and proper use of it and hopefully develop the club for the benefit of the community and surrounding area. I will be coming to some of your home games (dj'ing commitments allowing) provided you will be happy to have a new supporter who will be there not just for the short term.

thanks for the welcome guys. I'm getting a bit fed up with a few of the people from myfc getting peoples backs up

 

they need to realise that the club may be owned by a different organisation but the clubs soul belongs to the people who travel to see the club week in week out come rain or shine and always will do regardless of what it's called or who owns it

The last thing I want, even from 5,000 miles away, is for this whole thing to mess it up for the fans who have with the club for years. I hope the money is spent in the right way, to benefit the club long term and that reality will outweigh the fantasy aspect of management. The manager should have the first and final say about selection because he knows the players better than naybody else and if anybody joined the club to really want to override that then their idiots. I want the manager to make the decisions, he's qualified to do that. I want the club to succeed and I'm proud to have donated to it.

Haha well... Seriously though, as I've said, I disagree with the concept of MyFC but what's done is done, we obviously asked MyFC for their backing for a reason and I won't question the directors. Now the MyFC members are here, there's no point showing hostility because the atmosphere at Stonebridge Road deteriorates even further!

The money will be nice I agree. Not sure about not questioning the directors though.

At least with more people down the Fleet it may be warmer over the coming months.

I'm sure the regular "under 100" away fans are used to it by now. At least if a few more turn up at away matches we can huddle together and keep warm.
