I refer Honourable Gentlemen to my post on a previous thread.

 

A phone call I had in the DFC clubhouse late this evening informed me that certain 'Officials' at certain matches might well do better trundling up and down the line in Lycra or body-forming sports gear !

 

No names - No pack drill.

if this is the world of adventures game, i believe a stepladder or xray specs would be better.

and a barrel chested (i think thats the polite way to say it) centre half trudged off the pitch shouting fat kent you need assassinating (or assessing perhaps) he had just lost.

 

think i saw teffers but too scared to say hello as he had his minders with him!

Should have said hello TSF, few forumites there, El Guffs, Lightning MCQ wondering in midfield, Rattled07 and some very funny looking kent digging a trench on the side of the pitch in very tight fitting lycra

 

Have to admit thought the ref was very good last night, but missed a clear penalty in the 1st half which he was right on top of and wasn't assisted by his assistant who I think was gazing towards the tea bar at the time !!!!!

i went to the bar after with a luncheon voucher but i didnt see you or the lino there.

Yeah that was him trying to look a BTK, I left after the game as I had to get back to Bookham to sign on a player, yes the Chertsey 8 was ex Dorks.

i went to chessington v chertsey tuesday dave,not the ash game!

 

I did see Dorking at Raynes park vale saturday.

 

I said hello to our little mate but he didnt seem to want to chat. Was it something Ive said?

Probably didn't want to discuss the difference in fortunes between the change of management at Spurs and Dorking then. Didn't ask him if he had heard anything from the council recently?

dorkingdave it was all a bit sad to see to be honest.

Thanks for the compliment Razzled!! Shame about the disallowed goal. Poor game to be fair. We possibly deserved more but still didn't play well.

Our game was poor too, not sure if Jurg was involved for Cobham. Poor officiating didnt help towards the end with a number of silly bookings, the best being our GK who was booked for not jumping over barriers and netting to get ball back?

Worst part of night was 2 players turning ankles in warm up out the back field in poor light on ground covered with mole hills. Dont mind not warming up on pitch but surely area must be decent enough to allow it to be done properly.

Wasn't the best was it PB. I was indeed involved (GK). First game in over 2 months and was feeling like it afterwards!! The ref was a bit of a joke with the bookings (your GK had been doing proper time wasting for the previous 15-20 min and got away with it, then gets booked when its not his fault and with a couple of mins left!)

Don't get me started on the [****!!****] that is out the back thats impossible to do a decent warm up on!!

You guys seemed to panic after goin 2 up and felt if we had knicked one back it would have made for an interesting finish!
