They used to have a short-arsed Julian Dark at sweeper who always played well against us. They beat Marlow 4-0 last night and will start as firm favourites

Oxford City have Avery and Saulsbury playing at the back, and a chap called McSporran up front - is that the same one that was at Wycombe?

That would be a yes. And they have Jon Gardener in their squad who I have rated for long time

They have their ex captain back and Jamie McClurg from Uxbridge plus some other new faces hence losing narrowly to Didcot and beating Windsor. I think we now have a real battle on our hands to avoid the drop.

I think you are right about Bracknell maybe turning the corner. I was reading a local paper from that area on Friday and their manager is upbeat after recent performances and getting some new players in, as you said RR.

 

If we can keep playing as we did on Saturday, AND start picking up points, we can be more confident. Hopefully as players start becoming available, we will start scoring more freely. We are missing Jeffreys quite badly in my opinion, and against Uxbridge we were missing 3 strikers, with another 3 on the bench and not used for one reason or another!

Lets not get too pessimistic. Most of the teams we've played are in the top half of the table. Recently we've also added new players who look good signings and we've got others to return from injury. We've also put in some good performance recently so maybe we're about to turn a corner as well. I reckon if Bracknell are going to climb the table so are we.

we must all hit rock botthem and the like sometimes but together all can make it through but almost certanly some more servere jults but get over them if we can get the results we need and other things happen in my other post

We played well esp 2nd half and deserved the win, but unfortunately got no points. I hope we will continue to play like that as we will get some results, but MRGH we have lost to some real [****!!****] this season.
