I find the allure of the money great, to put the club on a solid footing, with a promise of guaranteed income every year, for the foreseeable future is great news, will allow the club to plan long term, the club, allow to buy players on longer contracts, maybe even speed up the plan for a new stadium, but here comes the but, Voting to pick a side will not in any shape or form work, even the presenters on the bbc 10 O,clock news were smiling about it,others saying it wont work,promoting Ebbsfleet, or making a laughing stock? you decide. It has some advantages, but voting to pick the team is a killer.and will kill the club if the idea is not vetoed, let them make money for the club, let them choose the bar price,etc etc, BUT LET THE MANAGER MANAGE, its his job not yours

Has anyone considered that some people are so p*****d off with this that they won't come back? Like with the name change. But this is a much bigger gig.

Obviously I'll attend no matter what, but I wouldn't bank on everyone coming back you know.

Even the new people who are claiming to be coming to a few home games might not be able to even things out.

Obviously this won't matter financially but in terms of atmosphere?

I don't think the attendances will change dramatically to be honest, maybe by a couple of hundred, but I might be wrong, we shall see.

To be fair, AFF, I've been reading for months about this being a scam, but there are lawyers on board, companies like Deloitte and EA and the whole setup of the company/organisation's constitution would seem to prevent any double-glazing shenanigans.

I took account of that Stu, but like DA11 said, Maxwell had good lawyers. History has many examples of the bigger the Scam Artist, the bigger the Shysters Lawyers!
I sincerely hope I am wrong, but one day I want to come back to see the Fleet playing in whatever League they deserve to be in, rather than look at a vacant lot, or whatever replaces the run down delapidated ground that a few of us love, whatever it's shortcomings!
