The MyFC deal is exiting!

We live in the age where we can converse/email almost instantly worldwide. We share our views with other nations and welcome and respect their return of views.

We have the opportunity here to share Ebbsfleet United not only with UK residents but with the people of the world.

This scheme has risk but so does borrowing from the banks to keep the club going along a steady path. Let's not forget that support has been dwindling this season and finances must be stretched to maintain the commitment to suceed; albeit at an incremental modest level.

This club has tended be cautious and not overwelmed by prospects of instant high risk gain strategies. People that have run it and those that do so today share the belief of wishing to not only see the club prosper but for it to be around for the next generations to have. Perhaps this is why it is still running and hasn't followed the usual model of folding up only to be subject to the high risk of restarting again.

We older supporters will need time to get our minds around this vast change to the club that has been local, friendly and steady for years.

I have no wish to dwell too long over past glorys; it is now and the future that matters. This is a Golden Egg of an opportunity. It is almost unbelievable.

Good luck in the venture.

I think everyone wishes he had thought of it first. I know I do. But frankly, the fun I've had since August, even including most of today, has already been worth more than 35 quid. And the real adventure is only beginning.
