These questions have been raised before and to be fair the MyFC webteam (who seem to be behind most of it) have tried to do what they can to answer them all but to be honest I've forgotten the answer!!!

After the thumping in my chest had stopped while reading this news this morning, the devil on my shoulder told me to have my cheeky 35 pounds worth.

We wanted marketing. We certainly got that. We wanted more "fans". We seem to have added one or two. Christ even the company COO came to see me today about it.

I wonder if we would have survived at all with full time footie and poor gates. If the locals wont turn up,(believe me Ive tried to get them to come) I'd welcome the extra people through the turnstiles.

There. Done it. Said it.

Fingers are crossed.

I was not an Ebbsfleet Utd fan before today. But I was reminded of this idea when I saw the story on the web today - i imediately pledged my £35, as I had intended to a while ago, and am now feeling totally elated that I may help do something positive for a non-league club.

I've read some of the posts on this board tonight and totally understand why people feel apprehensive. But this isn't just about the 20,000 new fans of Ebbsfleet - it is also an opportunity for the existing fans too.

If the majority of EU fans and the local community are against this whol project, the board should listen to their voices and vote against it. The deal should be called off.

But there is potentially something really great here, about a club being run by football fans for football fans. And football fans showing that they can help a club go somewhere.

Good idea. I don't think the FAQ goes nearly far enough in answerng the questions to be honest. The whole team selection things needs to be picked over with a fine toothcomb and explained in minute detail - certainly if MyFC is genuine in being open with its fans. There is too much misinformation and rumour and hysteria and it's difficult for anyone to take a step back and judge it on its own merits/limitations.
