Don't feel as if Ebbsfleet are the only team that has been targetted!

Biggleswade FC.are also going through the same thing.

There are also similar schemes in France, Denmark,Germany and the USA.

Similar projects

The ownership of the semi-professional English football club Biggleswade United F.C. inaugurated myBUFC in September 2007, which aims to put the management of that club in the hands of paid-up members, both on and off the field, in a way similar to MyFootballClub. Another project, Mitsuperligahold, was launched in Denmark in August 2007 with the aim of acquiring a club in the second tier of professional Danish football, the First Division.[9] Additionally, a lower-level French club in the Ligue de Basse-Normandie called Web F.C. allows its members, called "entraînautes," to vote on strategic and tactical decisions through a website. Unlike MyFootballClub's members, members of Web F.C. do not have to pay a fee to participate in the decision-making, but the more they participate, the more value his or her vote is accorded.[10] There also has been an American version called MySoccerClubUSA where the fans who join will start a club from scratch. The Members will vote on club location, league to start in (either United Soccer Leagues or the National Premier Soccer League)

The American one, seem to think they can choose which League they play in.The scary thing about the American site, is they don't tell you who is behind it!

The Wisdom of Crowds has been mentioned a couple of times, in Germany it was the Wisdom of Many.....A recurring theme?

Biggest - by far.

There is a French semi-pro club run by the fans for three or four years now - and a German third or fourth division club for the past couple of years as well.

An Israeli club are taking it to an extreme with members voting on constant polls over the internet during a game instructing the coach to change the formation or make substitutions.
