Agreed, but fortunately we don't have to agree completely. The majority consensus is what will rule the outcome.

now you concern me...if you don't win the G&N fans over you may as well sling the money down a drain as all you will have is an estuary mk dons...

full marks to you personally today as you have tried hard but this is actually a major PR fck up of catastrophic proportions...

What I was referring to is any given vote of the MyFC membership, on a player, a strategy, what have you. I just meant that it's not required that every voted agree. The consensus view is the one the membership adopts is all. If it sounded like I meant something different, my apologies.

I fully desire to get the loyal supporters on board with us! I think it's essential to the club's health.

Just letting you know Ive donated since Im using your bandwidth - and yes Im a new Ebbsfleet 'co-owner' (though it should really be 'football enthusiast') - I love the game, and I cant afford premier league prices, so non-league football is very appealing to me - and the idea of helping to fund a club with a long history and plenty of ambition is too good to miss.

I can understand why long term Ebbsfleet (sorry, Gravesend and Northfleet) fans might be concerned, though I see it as a way of ensuring Ebbsfleet gets represented at away games regularly (I plan on seeing them at York and Halifax for example).

I really hope in the next few days that people from both camps come realise how much we have in common - and just how much benefit the club will see in the longterm by having an online fanbase of over 50,000 worldwide.

done

I know how it must seem to a lifelong supporter, somebody playing fantasy footie with your team, but I beleive it might actually work. try to look at it from the bright side, this has definetly put Ebbsfleet/Gravesend and Northfleet on the world football map. the supporter's base is now nationwide and international with enormous potential for revenue increase.

I agree 100%. This is a major change in Ebbsfleet Utd. (assuming everything reaches a conclusion) and the existing fans. The responsibility lies with the members of MyFC to demonstrate to the existing fans that we are determined to protect the integrity and traditions of the club, that we are determined to operate in the best interests of the club and that we want to work in conjunction with (rather than above, instead of etc) existing Ebbsfleet fans. That is why it was very frustrating for some MyFC members on here yesterday to see some of the comments proporting to come from other MyFC members (I have my doubts about a lot of them). Hopefully, over time, MyFC will prove that we can assist a process of developing the club, develop the fan base and work in conjunction with existing fans to that end.

My only question is why don't you instead go and attend York City or Halifax games on a regular basis. You would be helping football more by putting money through the gate at these clubs than spending £35 on the MyFC scheme. They are non-league clubs who need your support and surely you would have more affinity with these clubs

I dont understand how your moaning about someone who wants to support our team?!? Reading most posts on here it seems they are actually football fans and wanna be part of our club, why are we tryna stop them!? We've been on tele all day and we've got 20,000+ new supporters/owners all across the world!

Im an ebbsfleet fan and now a MyFC member n i think its a great opportunity for us! Insteaed of all our usual moaners coming on here and moanin about the team fielded and the signings, why not join n vote! You might finally get your way!

Also i can see how this is a scary time for the fans, but we poor gates n no way of being able to improve them we need this!

Great to hear some common sense in this forum. I think a small minority of fans like being big fish in a small pond and now that pond just got a lot bigger they don't like it.
