Games tonight

Recommended Posts

Agreed, the ref was inconsistant.

From where I was thought you leaded with the elbow but will give you the benefit as It was only once.

We are quite tall at the back and had one center back missing who is as tall as the 5 dog.

We are getting close to matching most sides, felt we let you back in too easily after our second goal and then Cambo took charge for 20 mins or so. We had killed ourselves by the time we came back into the game and with no fit subs (two broke down during the warm up) we didn't have the options to make another impact on the game.

Dorking 0 - Ash 2

Even game in the first half. Dorking striking the posts twice in the second.

Hey-Ho !

A certain Ash player enjoyed his Lucozade in the bar afterwards !

Would just like to comment on the DFC v Ash game last night.

Firstly it was very nice to share a drink in the bar with Big JR. Even though it was just a Lucozade due to being poorly the same day.

Ash came thru a difficult tie under terrible circumstances with nearly half of the starting 11 from Saturday being taken ill after a night in Guildford on Saturday. 1 suspended, 1 absent thru work, 3 unable to play thru illness, and 2 played while still ill.

Some experts feel that the sudden illness of the Ash Utd squad was possibly due to the H5N1 strain. Although this is still being investigated. Either that or it was the dirty slappers in Guildford who had passed it on.

JR's report was not too accurate as Ash should have scored 4 or 5 in the first half and with another missed penalty just to make us feel better. Yes Dorking did hit the upright twice and were a much better opposition in the 2nd half.

It just shows why teams need a reserve squad. All the boys who came in last night to patch up the first team played very well.

Hopefully i'll be able to buy you a drink (Lucozade) in the near future JR. Contrary to what other people say on here.
