If nobody has already said it....

Thanks for the welcome. You actually mentioned the very topic I was looking for. On the club's website, there doesn't seem to be any shop link. There will be an incredible demand for club merchandise.

And please ignore the inevitable jokers. The MyFC members are excited to learn about your club; they're not here to "invade," even though the sheer numbers may make it appear that way.

I'm in the States, so I'll only be able to attend a couple of games a year, but I can't wait to be there. Now about those shirts...where?

Thanks, Slarti. It's not a done deal yet of course but over on the MFC forums people are already planning to get to the Oxford game this weekend (personally I'll be chewing my fingers off at Hampden...).

It's understandable that a lot of Fleet fans will be really wary of this because it's a huge step into the unknown, but hopefully it can be a positive one. Obviously you're worried about your club and have a huge emotional investment in it, whereas we're really excited to be 'getting started', so to speak, but with a bit of luck when the processes are all ironed out pre-existing fans will see it as an opportunity to get even more involved with the club.

Here's to a successful new era for EUFC.

The same way it benefits any team. An improved away crowd surely is never a bad thing, but of course there will be plenty of MFC members in the London / Kent / general southeast area that'll push up home supports. A very small fraction of Manchester United's support lives anywhere near Manchester!

Each year, the members put in another 35 pounds. So in addition to the revenue streams the club already has, that's another 700,000 (or more as the membership grows) for the club to use on infrastructure, player development, whatever is the greatest need. That's not even accounting for the huge increase in demand for club merchandise, as well as an attractive outlook for future sponsors.

The attendance will rise, both home and away, but that's just one part of the equation.
