No need to. Having been a member of MyFC since the first day it went "live," and having read through thousands of messages on that forum, I know that he doesn't reflect the sentiments of the members, who, believe it or not, actually have the same motives loyal supporters have...the long-term success of the club, on and off the pitch.

you have had a long hard day rsheard and obviously anticipated the uproar and manfully and frenetically stood pretorian as it unfolded...you have my respect for that...

I wonder at the wisdom however of you trying to distance yourself from the lesser sensitive amongst your massed ranks....they have the same rights to opinions as you do they not under the rules of MyFC...I am not condoning the actions of some on here today but to dismiss them as non members and WUM is perhaps less than democratic...one man one vote as you say and they pays their 35 squids and has their say........

with so many... there will be a large number of 35 squids that demand instant BBB...THAT is the real challenge...

tis the way of the democratic world...

well done anyway..... applause2

You're right, of course. Anyone who pays the price gets a vote. I'm just not convinced some of the posters today were actual members. If they were, they'll be over-ridden by the more reasonable majority in the long run.

As for staying around all day, I'm home with strep throat and can't talk, so I might as well type. I didn't want to stir anything up today, just wanted to express my excitement, and also to set the record straight on a few misconceptions about MyFC. Thanks for listening.

What the hell is wrong with you Jarrad? You think you can base a takeover of a football team on an outdated computer game? you didn't even manage gravesend and northfleet for gods sake. its people like you that have made real fans like me a critic of this mockery to sport.

The most worrying thing is of course what the fans see as 'their' club will be diluted beyond recognition by 50,000 or so 'owners' who have no real interest in the club beyond a passing whim and may leave it after a year or two in a less secure financial state than it is now. At only £35 a year what long term commitment is there in getting things right?

He went Fishing, and some took the bait.
Hook line and sinker.

Bound to be a few wind-up merchants,
but bottom line is Ebbsfleet Utd have 20,000 new fans this evening.

Fleet have 20,000 more people looking out for their results, not quite the same as fans! Although I would expect a few to be 'turned' over the coming months!

Of course, there are going to be doubters and nay sayers..

There is a lot to be said for taking the autonomy of the club away from individuals and placing it into the hands of many as the "Wisdom of Crowds" is often greater than any one individual with their own motivations.

............And when the crowd turns into a mob, and the rioting starts.......Where is the wisdom then?...........

I cant see how that would happen personally.

As always.........When they don't get it all their own way!
