I do David yes. The investment from this deal would be very difficult to find anywhere else and competition to get the backing from the website appears to have been quite fierce, so the Fleet have done really well to get the nod.

 

It is just my opinion and I understand if not everyone agrees with it. I can understand why some people might feel it is just a PR gimmick, but their commitment seems a lot more long term than that.

Their commitment will only last as long as they can continue to persuade mugs fans to stump up every year.

 

This being the internet generation with a limited attention span just how many members do you think there will be next season.

 

All those fans who thought they were going to be buying Leeds United will look at this and say who the [****!!****] are Ebbsfleet, I'm going back to Premiership Manager.

Not in favour of this then David? I also have my doubts - this could be amazingly successful, or could be the first nail in the coffin...

Perhaps you should have listened more to those fans on here that voiced concern over the "name change" and the actions of the Board at that time, rather than shouting us down at every opportunity on this forum? Yet again they have failed to "consult" the fans.

The current Board has really "killed" the Club over the past 6 months with these 2 big decisions. How can they even consider staying on as Board Members under the MyFootballClub regime.

May I suggest, that we all sign up to the MyFootballClub Website and:
a) Vote to rename the Club back to "Gravesend and Northfleet F.C."
Vote to remove the current Board from their positions.

I know I'm going to get slaughtered for this, but its something the Fleet Trust should seriously consider taking the lead on. What it requires is a few people to stand up and be counted.

They may well not cough up again next year but then if it is a success, you may find even more people want to join and get involved next time around?

 

Plus the publicity from this may well lead to even more people getting involved as well. Time will tell.
