Some perspective on Matters.

Just for those who think we are going through the worst run in however many years here is how our opponents in our last two matches have fared this weekend:

Exeter won 4-0 against Stevenage, who are managed by an ex-England manager: perhaps indicating that Exeter might, I know it's hard to believe, just be a good team going through a good run of form.

Forest Green drew 2-2 against Rotherham. They would have beaten them had it not been for a late equiliser.

Hopefully these two results have shown you that we've lost to two very good sides recently, so give it a bit of time before saying we are going through a rut.

I'm confused about this rut talk. Are we supposedly in a rut because of our results or because of the style of football we play. This is getting blown out of all proportion.

I think the 'Fleet are in a rut of constantly doing better than anyone expected, then when they fail to stay in this rut of good form, some fans are upset!
