Methinks it only sounded noisier because 150 or so of the quieter ones stayed away!

Actually, I have done once or twice but not for a while. Sometimes when I pause, I pause for a reason. The other "sound" to look out for is a loud "exhale" - that normally means "for f****s sake!"

 

But I take that as a compliment.

Wellsie,nothing to do with this topic but did I miss you mentioning the loss of Bob Harrop yesterday when the minutes silence was about to start? I heard you mention remembrance day but didnt hear you mention Bob on the tannoy. DID I miss the mention.? If he wasnt mentioned,for whatever reason,oversight etc could we do a "special" minutes silence or applause solely for him next week perhaps?

Unfortunately there was no mention for Bob and of course the potential for remeberence day "silence" and "applause" for Bob made it difficult to pay appropriate respect in both cases. I'm not there next week - family engagement - Steve Ball is in the chair, but of course the club will need to sanction any act with the approval of the match referee.

Thanks for that Steve. Hopefully the club will give a mention on THEIR behalf sometime soon as well as acknowledging his contribution to this club in the past. I still cannot believe the club havent given their condolences on the main page or even mentioned it. Bob was proberbly one of a very few MAJOR players for this club in the past.
