im sorry to say its looking desperate for the chicks. very disjointed performance with huge gaps in the midfield that rpv were happy to fill for long periods of the game.

I noticed in the town today a quality laminated poster at Pump Corner, advertising Dorking Wanderers v Guildford City Waysiders in a cup comp (played yesterday i think). Very professional looking poster as I say and they are obviously looking to raise their profile....

Wanderers won the game 10-1 by the way and there were several 'stalwart' Dorking fans present, a great set up with substantial local backing and a local team, comprising of Lee Smith, Kevin Burgess, Dean Milton and Steve Lunn to name a few!!

 

They have to produce a match day programme now and also have full refreshment facilities, i have not caught all their league games but certainly the ones i have the standard has been on par with the CC.

 

Rumours suggest this club is ready and waiting to take over Meadowbank, and with their history of ground development (West Humble looks excellent)it would be great news for the town.

Interesting. I have to admit until this year, I didn't even know Dorking Wanderers existed. I'll certainly try and come along at some point to see what's going on.

depending on league restructuring, wanderers could find themselves at the same level as DFC next season on current positions.
